We modified the format of our Matchmaking Forum to reflect a more focused approach. The matchmaking event will not list the large businesses’ company names in the online registration tool. Instead of listing the company name, we will provide a listing of IT services and agencies of interest to the large business. Small business participants will schedule meetings based solely on the listing of “real needs” provided by each large business and will not know the name of that company until after the initial registration. We think that providing a list of “real needs” for each company, instead of providing company names, will better ensure that small business participants only request meetings with large businesses that truly have a need (current or future) for the specific services provided by a given small business participant. Our ultimate objective is to add value to the Government, large businesses and small businesses by better facilitating suitable matches.

When large and small businesses come together to deliver services to Government customers, it’s a “win” for the large business, the small businesses, and the Government. We hope that our small business members will take advantage of these two extraordinary events.
