Congressional Working Group

MISSION

The Congressional Working Group (CWG) is charged with educating and informing members of Congress on topics affecting the management of government through its use of information technology.  The mission is to help Congress in understanding critical issues impacting the performance of government and to improve the delivery of services to its citizens and businesses. The CWG operates with the following objectives:

  • Serve as a “Trusted Advisor” providing thought leadership and expertise to the Members of Congress and Staff
  • Establish IAC as a neutral, non-partisan party providing advice to Congress on government management and technology issues
  • Integrate regular interaction with Capitol Hill as part of the  work plan of the IAC Executive Team

Hill Staff Breakfast Workshop

On November 15, 2011, ACT-IAC held a breakfast workshop on information technology issues on Capitol Hill (Senate Dirksen Bldg). Congressional staff members joined IAC members for frank discussions about trends and issues in technology.

For more information on the CEWG or to volunteer for this activity, please contact Don Arnold at 703-208-4800 x207 or darnold@actgov.org.
